APA Mission Statement
- Projects: To pursue generation or transmission projects that are within the Authority’s legislative mandate when these projects are in the best interests of the State of Arizona.
- Invoices/Billing: To ensure that customer billings are prepared accurately and rendered in a timely basis.
- Listen: To maintain regular communications with its customers so that customers are aware of current Authority activities and upcoming issues of importance.
- Leadership: To be a leader in managing resources in a safe and environmentally prudent manner.
- Advocacy: To provide active representation on behalf of the State of Arizona at federal, state and local forums on issues that impact the public power community as a whole and issues that specifically involve Arizona and the Authority’s power resources.
- Resource: To serve as an information resource for its customers on topics that impact the customers’ electric resources and utilization of those electric resources.
